Palm m130 pda (Item # 20152610) for $244.98 at www.officemax.com

add something to get over $250 (like the RCA Platinum Universal Remote Control for $10 with $10 rebate (Item # 20191196 , Style # RCU410MS ))

use $50 off $250 coupon from ultimatecoupons.com

Mail in for $50 rebate and $25 officemax giftcards

Use msn wallet to check out and get $40 in msn dollars

Total $244.98 - 50 - 50 - 25 - 49= $79.98 net

This is good December 21 only.

If you are ambitious, call after you order and complain that the 12-15-2002 newspaper ad promised a free keyboard included. They will probably give it to you.

Is it possible to get both the $50 and the $25 giftcard rebates? They both supposedly require the original UPC.

That's a good question, savoirfaire! I almost bought the thing!! :Q

I was looking for the 12/15-16 time limit but where is it written?
Is the limit /w the MSN wallet 'cause that's the only place I didn't check.

Yes, that date limit was for the msn wallet, but it appears that has been extended to 12-22-02. Since officemax is promoting both rebates together on their website, I think you shouldn't have any problem using a upc copy and note for the $25 gift card rebate.

I ordered this over a week ago without the MSN wallet deal.. doh
But FYI, I did call first and they assured me that since both rebates were listed, they would accept a photocopy of the UPC for the gift card. Just be sure to send the original for the $50MIR

The deals seem to have changed.

No $5 and no keyboard.

I found this out this midnight just when I was just going to order it. :(

I am just frustrated with myself!

BTW, the $25 Gift Card has a time limit of 12/21. Does the 21 mean purchase by 21? Thanks.

No $5 and no keyboard.

I ordered last night w/o the keyboard bundle. Called today and added the keyboard. If you look on the website the do have the keyboard.

I don't see anything about a keyboard in the article. Can I order now and call and have one added? If so, what do I need to tell em?

I ordered it last night. It seems that by saying the K/B offer was on the Sunday paper, they will honor it.

Anyways, I just found out that ebates.com has a 4% cash back /w OfficeMax. That's double the MSN cash back...
Should I cancel and re-order....

Yesterday I tried to use the 50 off coupons from that site and it linked me into officemax.com with a 30 off 150. I tried today and the links say sorry the promotion has ended. Kinda crappy.

Apparently its dead.

The link from ultimatecoupons.com was dead when I tried it too. However dealcoupons' $50 coupon worked so I used that.

> You can use both ebates and msn wallet at the same time at any site that has both. Though you might not be able to use ebates with the coupon, since the office max coupons are links, not codes. However there is no problem using a coupon with msn wallet.

Ebates' FAQ states you can't.

Hmm this would be a great xmas present (still got 3 days!!). Stupid office max site is down and I can't find the stupid $50 off coupon, plus I gotta figure out how MSN wallet works. But enough of my whining and onto a question:

Do you absolutely need a USB port to plug the cradle in in order for the thing to charge? The 6 year old computer the recipient has does not have any USB ports so I'm kinda worried that if I got this for them they couldn't charge it. Maybe he'll be getting a USB card too?

The charger plugs into the cradle. I would think that you could charge the m130 without having the usb cable plugged into the computer. If you dont have usb ports you can not synchronize the palm. I guess you could buy a usb card.
