This is my first post and hope that someone besides myself is able to take advantage of it. On page 2 of the Office Depot flier the Palm Keyboard is listed at $19.99, the keyboard usually goes for $99.99. The keyboard is good for all Palms. My Office Depot gave me the advertised price even though they noted that it was a typo. I think that I was just lucky and got an employee who wasn't paying close enough attention. Good luck!

I don't think these are compatabile with DaVinics and such, but is it with Visors? Anyhow my AD said $99.99. Maybe it's a regional mistake.

Someone has a DaVinci that works!:Q

Good for you. Royal is giving away keyboards for free for recent buyers.

I went through 5 DaVinci PDAs at Staples. The first one ate batteries overnight. "We know" said Royal/Olivetti. Upgrade your OS. Tried that but unit would not upgrade. :frown: Customer Service mumbled something about not being able to update if I had the "black" CD. :frown::frown:

Staples B&M store traded me even for a new DV3. Backlight had a big blotch in the middle.:frown I took it back for another one. Bigger blotch, different location.:frown :frown On to unit #4. DOA. :|Never gets out of calibration. Unit #5 works with more blotches in the backlight. I gave up.:frown: :|

I called Royal to let them know about my experience. They asked why I didn't call them sooner about the blotches. They said I could have shipped them the unit and they would have eliminated the blotches and sent them back! I pointed out to them that they should not have shipped the junk in the first place and that it was much easier for me to simply return the obviously defective product to Staples.:|:|:|

Royal Olivetti is not customer focused. They do not care about the quality of their goods. They will only make it right after you complain and do without the product while they take their sweet time fixing it. They just don't get it! Lucky for me Staples customer service was A#1 the whole way. :)

On my way to get a Palm or Visor!

They don't honor it. A notice at the entrance that $19.99 is a typo and "sincerely apologize for our valued customers".

I picked one up yesterday. Almost had to fight the manager for it because their computers on the floor says $99.99, buuuuuuuuuuut...their point of sales registers says 19.99. If they haven't correct the price yet, I would ask them to confirm the price at the registers, not the computers on the floor. Good Luck all...

I just picked one up at the Office Depot in Merifield, VA. I first went to the Bailey's X-road one and it appeared that no one there knew of the "typo". Since they were out of KBs, I got one of the employees to call the Merifield store. While he was on the phone, the Manager from the other store revealed the misprint. Now for whatever reason (may be cause he was employee of the month as I noticed his picture on the wall), the employee was able to say "we'll have to let this one slide" and proceeded to send me over to Merifield saying that the manager there would honor the price. When I got there, they resisted a bit until I told them that I was "sent". They eventually gave in and I got my KB.

Keep in mind that the day after the ad got out, all OD stores got their correction notices. I got pretty lucky and hope some of you will have the same luck.

This KB is good for the m100, Palm III, and VII.
