Palm IIIxe OD $199.99 before rebate (PM Staples as usual)
Buy from Staples and PM OD
Add the Hot MSN $0.01 kit to make it $200
use the $40 off coupon.
Add attache if you want to (it sucks but it's free, I have one, cannot close teh cover once I put 2" thick of stuffs there).

Anyone have better free gift from Staples? I know no more free TV.

Credit go to Peetoeng . He posted new information on this thread

I post a new thread so that people won't missed it. link

Update I found 3 merchants drop the price of Palm IIIxe to $199.90-199.99. May be more merchants will drop teh price. Could be Plam want to unload the stuffs. I suspect afthe rebate expire, the price drop to $199.99 regular, no rebate hassle.

It may happen that a couple merchants drop the price a day early. So some of us get lucky to get the "new" price with the rebate before teh rebate expire.

Let's see how soon and how many other merchant will catch up.

shop4digital advertised it for $147 after rebate.
If you're lucky, you may get a clueless cust rep match $147, then you get $50 rebate from Palm directly.

BTW, Palm allow up to 5 rebates per name / address.
However, limit one rebate per purchase.

i.e. if you want multiple rebate, put them on separate receipts.

Edit The prediction of price drop were posted early this morning to let people aware of it after i saw a few stores lowered the price.

Good that I prove my prediction correct as the business hours came, more stores dropped teh price, including J&R.

Too bad I am wasting time to find good deal and spend 2 hours try to save extra $5 from Amazon. Wish I can study the stock market instead of studying the hot deals.

I think you're right about the price break -- after the rebate ends, the price for the iiixe will very likely be $199.

call 18003staple, you'll see that palm IIIxe dropped to 199.98 at staples.
however the web still says 249.99
so you don't need to pricematch anymore, just order directly, use the 40$ off 200 coupon. and send in the $50 rebate.
what a nice deal :)
today is the last day for the rebate tho. since the price dropped, there will no longer be a rebate soon I guess

I've posted before, but Staples regular price is $199.98, via phone. No PM needed.

I asked Staples CSR about the price. She said it is competition price, not manufacturer suggesting price. This means regular price did not lower yet.

My pricematching & coupon luck Sucks so I went another route this time.

I ordered it on thier website for 249.99 and usedthe 40.00 coupon. That way I have a dated receit in my inbox. Then requested an email price adjustment to the new price of 199.99.

Total 170.78 - 50.00 MIR = $120.78

Worked great and no having to deal with over zealous OD associates.

Glitchh - Any idea when the M105 is released? I would like to use the $40 coupon if it's released soon.

When did the $50 Palm IIIxe rebate end? I thought it ended January 31st, must have gotten bad info.

Diggitydog the 19'th was the last day. So the only way you can get it for cheap now would be through Staples with the $40 off $200 coupon. It comes to $160 shipped.
