Staples has Palm IIIxe for $249.99 w/ $50 MIR here to bring it down to $199.99 - I was able to use multiple cupons (3) ($25 on $75) found here and here which brought it down to $124.99 plus tax with free shipping

This doesn't work online.
Did you actually order one?
How did you do it?
Which coupon types did you use? I did not see any $25 off $75 on those links.

NITROS - you have to look - they are towards the bottom of the page - And I just placed the order today - There have been talks about Staples not taking more than one cupon - But if you ask Staples CSR, they say that it's not a problem - That's why it's vital you get the name of the rep. who takes your order

okay so I am assuming you talked to a CSR and gave her 3 coupons that are each $25 off of $75. Is this correct?

Your CSR must have been smoking some crack. Why didn't you use all the Staples coupons to get the Palm for free? Maybe even make a little money on the side?

Yes NITROS

fletch713 - these are not 100% cupons - the total dollar off amount has to equal the total amount of the product

You know, I thought this was crazy too, but someone posted another deal(for a monitor I think) at staples where they used 3 or 4 coupons. I was skeptical but a bunch of people said that they were able to place their order using multiple coupons. If that's true, I'm really kicking myself for not doing this in the past, I could have saved a bunch more money. Staples has to be the dumbest company in the world if they allow this and pricematching. How long can they possibly stay in business with these types of deals?

...so, what exactly do you tell the CSR?

"I'd like to apply three different coupon codes, please."

At work right now and can't really make calls to buy personal stuff online, but
I'd like to know before I get home.

Addendum -- If this is true, there's a new coupon code on the Huh's coupon link for $40 off $150.
If you apply that together with the two $25 off $100 codes, you'd get $90 bucks off!
That'll drop this PalmIIxe to about $110!

you basically tell them that you want (this product number) then tell them you have a few cupon codes you want to use - simple as that...

use the $40 of $150 before $25 off $100 coupons
249.99-40 = 209.99-25 = 184.99-25 = 159.99-25 = 134.99- 50(mir) = $84.99
thats assuming that you can use 4 coupons;)
otherwise(with only 3 coupons) the price is $109.99

ouch hot hot:Q

Let me take back that line about smoking crack. I just placed an order using three coupon codes. Note: it seems you can do this by phone, but not online. They asked me how I got all the codes, and I told them they send them to me (which they do).

Looks like you can just keep stacking coupons as long as the total is less than your purchase price, i.e. 75 x 3 = 225, which is less than the $250 for the organizer. Thus, you get 25 x 3 = $75 in savings. Looks like the CSRs at Staples are going to be flooded in a little bit...

EDIT: Kinda annoying when the deal keeps getting better.:) Had to call the CSR back to squeeze in that fourth coupon.

Just got mine.
I guess crack is a perk at Staples, or maybe just for mgt.
Wow, I think I am going to do a lot more shopping at Staples from now on.

I guess the CSR that answered my call (Joanna) was too smart for this one. :frown:

Apprently the minimum purchase of each coupon code (ie $40 off ** $150 **) all have to add up to less than the product's price. So, the three coupons I was attempting to stack, the min purchase became $350. :p

I'll call again and see if another CSR will allow it. :D

Anyone successfully stack four coupons yet? I attempted four with Joanna, but no soup for me.

BTW - the $20 off $100 coupon is a mailed coupon, not e-mailed coupon. She kindly let slip that info for when they ask...

I was able to stack 4 codes, but it seems that was just luck. They're only supposed to allow 3 codes per purchase. I already used the 40 off 150, so this time I used (1) 30 off 150 and (3) 25 off 75. Total savings of $105, not including the rebate.

I guess if you're really lucky, you could use (1) 40 off 150 and (3) 30 off 150 for a total savings off $130. But that would defy all laws of mathematics. Maybe if you could talk real sweet to one of them CSRs...

Are there any items with 100% rebates. Might be able to increase the order price so you can use more coupons??

couldn't you use a 40/200 to start it off? then you could use two 40s and a 30 (maybe even two 30s) for a total savings of 190 with the MIR- right?

If the coupon totals can't exceed the price of the item I would imagine using as many 25 off 75 coupons would be best. That gives you a 33% return for each coupon (25/75 = .33). But a 40 off 150 only gives you 27%. And 20% for the 40/200 and 20/100...

so 3 coupons for 25/75 = 75/225

250 - 75 (coupons) - 50 (rebate) = $125 + tax

I keep telling myself to wait to see if someone else finds a better way to drop the price. I really want one of these now....must resist placing order....will weakening...

SurfinDaNet, I think that is the only (best) way to bring the price down for the palm IIIxe. I just bought the palm IIIc for 247. Which is including tax. You can stack as many coupons as possible. As long as the total of the coupons don't exceed the price of what you are buying.
