The only problem is that I don't forsee Staples getting the prism anytime soon. They may get the Platinum. On the other hand someone in CompUSA checked and said they may be getting them in pretty soon (next week) maybe they could do me a trade. *sigh* Do I really need color?

wow.. these prices seem kinda expensiveo me. the UCLA computer store sells palms for a good deal less than this price. you have to be a UCLA affiliate to buy the PDA though.. i think. someone check it out. or maybe i will and post again.

Yes, $180 for brand new. It's because I plan to use it myself, not reselling. I have a glass-broken Palm III that works fine so I can live without one. To me, Vx is not too much valuable than IIIxe that is a lot less (after coupon & price match plus potential free 5" TV or attache, with receipt and warranty ...) So, for cash buying from a private seller, that's the most I'd paid for a Vx, no matter who sell it. Of couse the seller doesn't have to sell it to me neither if te price is not right.

No offense, in my original posting I already mention that the seller probably will get higher price on those online auction sites.

I know you can beat me by offering $181, but that will turn this forum to an informal auction.

I didn't plan to post the message but I couldn't find a private reply button to make the offer so that's why it's exposed.

If anyone care to help junior member, please advise me how to response privately.

Yehhhh just got mine today along with free TVs.
was told that the palm would be scheduled to deliver on Nov 6th, hey that's pretty quick on the order placed on Oct 29.

btw, they somehow screwed up and sent me 2 TVs :Q:Q:Q

I really considered not getting the Prism but an iPaq, but forget it too much effort and I think I'll wait till there is better Bluetooth hardware out there. I returned it to CostCo sans receipt and got back $346 (including the atrocious CA sales tax-the PDA is $319 there, only a $10 difference).

The iPAQ is gorgeous and the only palm i believe worth getting.. got one for my sister and then she gave it back to me today if I would get a PalmV for her. She needs the palm os to run her medical software. I got mine from Circuit City... but I believe Radio Shack can order the iPAQ 3630s and have them in just a few days.
