Palm buying BE for $11 million in stock

Palm announced today that is is buying Be, the makers of the BeOS for $11 million in stock. Read the full story over at News.com.

Well, at least parts of be will still be alive. However, Palm has said they do not have any interest in continuing development of the BeOS. They are basically buying Be to get media technology to incoporate into their Palm OS.
