Very tempting because this card beats the 4870 in performance, significantly. The cooling solution seems good.

I would pull the trigger... but who is Palit? Why is this so inexpensive? One of the reviews says it arrived as open-box.
There is also the questionable warranty - they don't seem to have registration links.
These are complex parts that have to work under significant temperature and power loads.

Sticking to the "wait for further price drops" plan, with the 9800GTX+ and 4870x2 releasing.
