I'm surprised that none of the righties have chirped in here saying it's her god given right to pull the wool over our eyes.

Being conservative doesn't mean that you're stupid. I think many righties have realized what a complete moron Palin is, and the last thing they want their party to be remembered for this election is hitching its future to such a complete disaster of a politician.

And that Tito the Builder implied the same thing as well on Hannity, that the 1st amendment somehow places a burden on the media for full and fair reporting, a la Fairness Doctrine but even applying to print media.

IOW, they're arguing the exact opposite of the 1st amendment, that govt should be allowed to control the media, and what it can and cannot report. That's disturbing, to say the least, and genuinely socialist if I may so.

more facism imo, but in the end they are often very similar.

and i'm talking real socialism not obama 'socialism'

There is not a straight talk express bus big enough for the truth this duo brings.

Tell us what it's like to live in crazytown.

Its actually authoritarian in nature, not socialist. Much different.

I find it funny that she is more or less arguing that the press should stop reporting what they are due to discounting her words. She is actually making an argument to suspend free speech, that is just mind boggling.

They're considering running her with Joe Wurzelbacher. They can bill them as Dumb and Plumber.

but wasn't thinking.

... which is her usual condition as she tries to deny the same right to everyone else.

Someone should remind her that a closed mouth gathers no feet. :Q

Thank you!! It seems as if labeling something as "socialist"is the latest perjorative.

"If [the media] convince enough voters that that is negative campaigning, for me to call Barack Obama out on his associations," Palin told host Chris Plante, "then I don't know what the future of our country would be in terms of First Amendment rights and our ability to ask questions without fear of attacks by the mainstream media."

Wow.. I know I'm supposed to provide some commentary, but I really don't know what to say..

So commenting on something she is saying is suppressing first amendment rights? Let me guess, she doesn't think they should say that? Oh the irony...

I just had to quote this...
