I'm dumbfounded in the fact that the Republican Party has no ability to find candidates better qualified to run for office. Please, for the betterment of our country, let her disappear into obscurity.

The problem is that there are lots of intelligent conservatives who can make compelling arguments regarding much of the right-wing ideology - economics, defense, domestic spending policy, etc. Unfortunately for them the conservative base is clearly alienated by intellectuals, and instead are motivated by morality politics. Until there is a conservative party that cuts ties with the religious types you aren't going to get many better candidates than Palin and Bush.

Hmmm, switch the gender and this doubles as a spot-on description of President Obama!

Oh, and with your last sentence, you really don't know what you're talking about.

this is a typical response. "oh well he's speaking negatively about palin so he automatically must be an Obamite!"

2 wrongs dont make a right. They have people polarized like this. You think that since there is a black Liberal in office, that you're going to "win" by electing the same people who presided over the largest terrorist attack on US soil, the longest war in US history, a doubling of the national debt and the biggest financial collapse since the Great Depression.

She's no spokesman of mine in any way shape or form. She's just taking advantage of the opportunity to cash in, and stupid lefties keep handing her more spotlight time to keep cashing in.

Lefties are handing her more spotlight time? Bill O'Reilly and Fox News = lefties?

What's wrong with just saying that we will deport them all and put phalanax guns on the border backed up by the Army?

I was more pointing out that O'Reilly is not the shill for Republicans and regurgitater of hard-right conservative ideology on her team throwing her soft-ball questions as you were originally implying, so thanks for the edit. If it were Hannity interviewing Palin, yes that would be the softest most agreeable interview you'll ever see.

Everything today is ass-backwards everywhere, even former President Clinton when talking of the late Senator Byrd, said of his involvement with the kkk was excusable because that was just what he had to do to get elected.

And as we have our former governor Blagojovich on trial and many of the taped conversations being released to the media, to compare how he talks behind the scenes compared to the persona he put on to get elected...

Who knows anymore, I'm sure a lot of what Palin says is what she thinks will keep her in the spotlight. There is no perfect solution to immigration, that's why we don't have a solution implemented. I don't know. But it's not the job of a President to come up with the plans, it is the President's job to enforce the plans that congress creates. I don't know what people are looking for...

Yes he is. She wouldn't be caught dead (or allowed by her handlers) appearing on any BUT the friendliest talk shows.

I actually know in my personal life a person who wanted her as VP :(

I live in Tyler Texas, my entire family and half the people I know think people like Beck and Palin are the greatest people alive.

Nuke the site from orbit, only way to be sure.

That's the only sound way of dealing with it that I could come up with.

These people here think everything that goes on in the world is part of Biblical endtimes. They all think Israel should be unconditionally supported

here is a quote from the newest Texas GOP platform

"Our policy [on Israel] is based on God’s biblical promise to bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel and we further invite other nations and organizations to enjoy the benefits of that promise."

They all gather and praise God and worry about world politics in baptist castles such as this one:

Engineers aren't required to spell correctly, you know that (unless of course you are one of those powerpoint engineers). :D Just as long as we get the algorithms correct and the product designed and working properly, that is all that matters. Yea, I could have run what I typed through a spell checker, but since I only spend a few moments here every day, why bother. Besides, if I was as dumb as a rock, I wouldn't be employed and compensated as well.
Not an engineer, but I was once an engineering technician; I took the engineers' designs and fixed them so that they'd actually work...
I'm also efficient enough to use FireFox with its integral spellcheck.

Wow, another left wing Palin thread. How refreshing.

Just admit it, she owns all of you and you're projecting your self-hate at her.

I don't hate her. I'd love to bang her silly. It's all the people who think she is qualified to be POTUS and support her I hate.

There's a lot of anger on this issue, but no ideas, no solutions and not even any desire to solve the problem.

Only if she got a laryngectomy first - I can't stand her voice let alone uncontrolled when banging starts.

I think she should go give maps to improve our education in South Africa for US Americans. Seems like her calling.
