you are fundamentally wrong, ignoring a problem does not make it magically go away, you must face that problem head-on.

i hear Palin talking about waving a white flag of surrender, well that is exactly what she is doing by ignoring, and therefore promoting, the problem.

You have to remember that by calling out the person in the crowd, she is taking a gamble. What if the crowd starts booing her for giving a lecture against racism? That would be all over the news and make the Republican Party look really bad. Remember what happened at the McCain rally when he tried to tell the crowd that Obama isn't a Muslim or a terrorist.

i remember that rally very well, it marked the end of the 'week of hate' that Palin had lead. he actually acted like the John McCain that i used to respect. unfortunately, it took David Gergen and John Lewis calling him out before he acted.

404 great person NOT FOUND?

Sorry, but I did not hear the word said in any of them. I saw some stupid people, but there's lots of those on the left too.

So I guess Corbett is right and perhaps that's why you said you are done with this.

26 seconds in #2. Now I'm finally done with this.

lol, you found a clip where a guy says "negro" and that somehow makes your title and topic summary true?

you = fail

Well this thread sure has legs. The original poster isn't the person who broke this story. The MSM picked up on it. You all want to cut his balls off because he among others was wrong about this. With all of the other stories that were coming out at the time this wasn't so far in left field. The fact is that there was a racial undertone and in some cases overtone to the election. Just accept it.

Yeah, that's the funny part. It's as though proving this thread wrong erases any and all racism that went on during the election. That's simply not the case.

lol, the point of the latter half was due to a different thread where some got all in a huff about the OP not changing his title even though it was reported as true when he posted it.

Palin is not going away - at least until 2012.

And it's really, really sad that Joe the Plumber threw McCain under the bus for Palin/2012. Even though Prickly McSame turned into a pandering dunderhead he has more intergity and intelligence in his little toe than that asshat from Alaska and that freak show plumber.
