I don't think Palin is going to run.

if she did, I don't think there's a chance in hell she'd win the primaries.

Palin might be the candidate of Rush and Hannity, but look how well their candidates fared in the 2008 primaries when mainstream, run of the mill republicans actually came out to vote.

Michelle Backman, with her constantly moving mouth, serving in a position directly under Sarah Palin, YES! :awe:

Who would want Palin to be president? She can't even get through a term as governor of Alaska without quitting.

I don't like Palin much, but she has her shtick down and seems to be able to motivate people. Both for and against her.
Bachmann, she's just a boatload of batshit insanity. There is no way the woman should hold a public office. Let alone be one step away from the presidency.

But I still don't quite "get" how this is a news story? Hannity just had these two women on as guests, and suggested to excite the crowd a pairing for the 2012 elections. That's all it was, they were guests, he wanted the crowd to cheer.

I saw MSNBC ran it on all their nightly commentary shows, trying to mock Republicans as if oh these crazy Fox News idiots are plotting I don't know, I can't take MSNBC seriously enough to actually pay attention to what their idiots say...

All this was was a statement to get a crowd to cheer.

How is it now on an npr blog? "The left" never ceases to disappoint me...

What is the best way for any one political political party to win the Presidency?

Short answer, for the GOP, hope the democrats run a candidate too far to the left, find a candidate only slightly to the right of the democrat, sweep your own party and attract many conservative democrats.

Short answer, for dems, hope the GOP runs a candidate too far to the right, find a dem slightly to the left of the GOP candidate, sweep your political party and attract many centrists GOP members.

And while both Backman and Palin are excellent at exciting only the GOP extreme right, they still qualify as democratic wet dream sure losers.

They're better than Romney, and and Bachman is better than Palin. I would still vote Constitution Party if they ran, however.

The only neocon I would really even consider voting for though, is Jim DeMint.

I think Rand Paul has a good chance if he were to run. I hope he does. He'd win in a landslide against Obama.

Our eletced representatives represent us. They represent us by being chosen to vote for us in our legislatures ect, and by being who we think we are. They substitute for us and they mirror us.

Sarah Palin is representative of millions of Americans. Millions of Americans see themselves in her. She thinks like millions of Americans do. She has every proper right in the world to become their representative is they want and can elect her to do so. This is the right of millions of Americans.

If you don't want Sarah Palin and other's who represent the thoughts opinions and feelings of millions of other Americans to get elected, I would suggest you focus on the policies they represent and get folk to see they might not be a good idea.

This constant sexualization of Palin, the constant insults to her intelligence, the flipped out pathology of reaction to her, especially on the left will, in my opinion do nothing but get her elected. She is George Bush in a dress, fully qualified and capable of being the President.

Don't forget, if there's nothing Americans love more than electing two boobs.

I shouldn't have said that.

Many satirists are hoping for this. Those two would provide an unlimited amount of comic material. Jon Stewart would have to double the length of his Daily Show to cover it all.

Anything I can do to insure that would be the GOP's nominees? It's a dream team.

No way Palin is going to drop her tele-evangelist type career at this point though, she is pulling in major personal bucks off the suckers.
