Her voice is noticeably coarse from all the talking, but it adds some grit which has been sorely lacking IMHO. Her folksy voice actually does her more harm than good IMHO, not Presidential at all. As a politician, she is firing on all cylinders right now......even if what she's saying is pure garbage.

It's a shame her political career has been ruined after her horrendous rollout. She will forever be remembered as the retard who saw Russia from her window.

I hope she goes back to Alaska and never comes back. TBH I think the right wing radio hosts and tv pundits don't really like her at all....but what are they going to do, bitch about it and turn even more people away from McCain? She is NOT the future of the Republican Party, at least I hope not.

This forum lacks that comprehension.

I can definitely understand the appeal Palin has, and I honestly believe if she had a few months more prep. time and a better rollout this race would be different. The problem was her introduction was so horrible that she quite simply never recovered. In fact, the introduction was so bad it has likely destroyed any chances she has for ever running again.

That's fine with me. I've experienced a few women leaders in my day, and they were all terrible.

Prep time can't make up for everything. The problem is she really doesn't seem to possess much intellectual curiosity. She may have known a lot about Alaska but it doesn't seem like she bothered to keep herself informed on national or international topics.

There's only so much cramming you can do when you're starting from scratch.
