India vs Pakistan is not a match. India mostly loses anyways

bahaha

anyway, good score by pakistan...its 507 for 5 now

This series reminds of the one in Sri Lanka where they batted eternally for that 952 against India. Sri Lanka "prepared" dead pitches in fear of the awesome might of the Indian batting line-up. Without taking away credit from the Pakistani batsman, I still think it's laughable that they want to score eleventy billion runs on a dead pitch and leave 20 overs for India to ensure that they don't lose 😛 The 2004 drubbing at India's hands probably still rankles

It's still better than the football, etc fever and vandalism which has become common place. In cricket you can't tell till the end which team will win. Any of them can make a comeback at any time. Makes watching it progress very much necessary.

The pitches are not being used for just one team. Both the teams play on the same pitch so such allegations that they are dead pitches are baseless. If one team suffers, the other suffers too.

Furthermore, cricket is quiet a bit like baseball.... hit and run 🙂

negative...cricket require more skill and judgement....in baseball all you do is hit as hard as you can and run as fast as you can.

Wonder why USA doesn't has a cricket team? I don't think there is a lack of talent causing this......

yeah, there are enough people here from S. asia, the carribean, africa and there are also britishers and australians here. I'm sure they can put atleast a decent team together.

I think the US was in the process of putting a team together but it fell apart...they couldnt get it done before the deadline or something

ahh...man sucks for you...for all purposes you're abcd but unlike an abcd, you cant be president of the US 🙁:brokenheart:

They play baseball in India too...except it's called gilli-danda

Actually, the first ever international Test match was played between the U.S.A and Canada. It was very popular in the New England area until the late 1800s and probably the early 1900s, if I am not mistaken. I think the reason it lost out to baseball was because it came to be seen as an elitist game. You had to be like smart or something to play it

Inspector Jihad, apparently cricket administration in the U.S suffers from factionism and they are not able to come under one umbrella organization which is why the ICC has kept them out of tournaments. They may still make it for the 2007 World Cup in the Carribean. My cousin plays for teams in New Jersey and Virginia and is hoping to get a spot on the US National Cricket team.

Very true but if you know baseball, you can sort of improvise.

Gulli Danda? That is usually played in Indian and Pakistani villages.

If they really are able to make a team, I would love to see how the n0obs perofrm in international cricket against good teams like England, Australia, Pakistan and India.

Pakistan declares innings at 599 for 7. Excellent playing and a daunting target for the Indian team. The pitch is favourable to the batting side so India has some apparent advantage in that.

repost thread when their is a video...

it would be so awesome to watch! bugs killin' each other,

..and humans on the face of the planet can barely comprehend what they are actually doing to themselves in the actual pretense of war.

PS: Aren't there any Indians from India itself (not expatriates, etc) here?
