sorta funny... this is the 2nd time ive had to type this up...

ive got a couple of problems with my computer... these have not always been problems but have showed up recently and i am not sure what to do...

problem 1.

my pc randomly turns off... it could be after hours or days or minutes... sometimes after it has turned off it does not want to turn back on... after it turns off though... the fans and what sounds like the HDD are still going... i then have to hard turn it off to get those to stop...

problem 2.

when booting... my computer stops and says "warning CPU has changed" and to change the settings save and quit... or to press f1 to continue...

ive tried changing settings to default or fail safe and saving but it does not stay...

ive read a few things about this and it seems it may be a battery issue? would changing the battery also help the restarting issue im having?

any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

possibly the CMOS battery is dying, go buy another battery and replace the one on the motherboard with a new one.
