Ok, I have decided to paint my Enlight 7237 case. Is there any case painting links out there that anybody know of??? Also, if anybody has any essential tips or cool ideas or colors, I would appreciate it.

well, here's mine

http://members.xoom.com/mikewarrior4.

steps:
1) Sand it at least to rough up the surface.
2) Clean surface
3) Primer(i used spray primer), in small, light coats until you get a nice even coat... Let dry for at least 4 hours.
4) Wet Sand primer for smooth finish(I start with 400, then 600, then 1500).
5) Wash surface off of any dust/etc( I use a garden hose).
6) Start spraying paint, in nice, light coats again. Do it multiple times. Do not build up the paint too thicky on any one coat.
7) let dry minimum of 24 hours
8) Wet sand(optional). I used 1500.
9) Spray Rustoleum Clear coat on, again in light and thin coats. Build up to nice, thick clear coat. Let dry at least 12 hours.

10) Optional, but after a few weeks you can give your clear coat a nice wax layer to further protect it and to help rub out any unsmooth parts.

This is not a conclusive guide. Some steps can be skipped if you don't have the time or desire for its effect.

OOH, crap, I forgot to add this earlier... You can let your case airdry after washing the dust/etc off, but I highly suggest wiping the painted surfaces with a tac rag(doesn't leave dust/lint, and will keep water from spotting up on it).

Well, this is my 5th or 6th different paint job on my case, and I'm finally happy with it, but good luck.. just keep the paint layers thin, and it won't get too thick and blotch up,etc.

If you are really worried about screwing up badly, go to the second hand computer store and find you a piece-o-crap old case for a few bucks and practice on it. Better yet, call around and maybe one of the second hand stores has one they will give you just so they wont have to look at it anymore.

Anyone here ever put decals sheets covering their case? Was trying to think of a way to spice up my case, but without going through the effort of painting it. Plus, with my artistic ability, I'd need to buy a new case. I have seen a few cases with these sheets and they look pretty cool.
