Threw that out there for confirmation, not as fact, read my post again
I would have taken it as something looking for confirmation if it had been in the form of a question; but it wasn't. Your first line was "Also, if you unplug your monitor and let it sit a while, I've heard the capacitance electricity will disappate." That didn't sound to me like you were asking for confirmation. If you were and I missunderstood, you have my apologies. ;)

I decided to buy a black monitor. I wanted a new monitor anyway. But for my case I am not sure of what paint to get. Can I get a mirror finish with vinyl dye? I saw a link that showed me how to get a mirror finish on computer cases and I love it. But I also don't want it to scratch easy, can vinyl dye do this?

Dying your case with vinyl dye will mean that it will scratch just as easily as the plastic that covers your case will. If you let paint dry for about 3 months and are at least somewhat careful during that time, you will have a hard coat of paint that will not scratch easily. I don't know if you saw this in my earlier post, so i will present it again: <http://www.pc-workshop.net/articles/paint101/paint101-1.shtml> It's a wonderful tutorial for painting your case and if you follow it's instructions and don't put wax on it until the paint has fully hardened, you will have a very durable finish.
