I was lucky enough to get my hands on a Dust Tactics board game last eyar when it was sold out for a fre months. After looking at BGG and FFG threads I decided to try and paint the entire set. Took me 2 and a half weeks, mostly in evenings. Can't say how much hours in there but i'm pretty proud of what I accomplished, even more since it was at least 10 years since I painted a mini.

So here's my Dust Tactics core set and some expansions:

As a bonus (yeah right) last week I bought Mansions of Madness with Fobidden Alchemy, 'Til Death do us Part and House of Fears. Painted all the minis from MoM and FA in 4 evenings. It's looking good on the table!

Those look pretty good. I have mansions of madness and was thinking about getting into Dust.

Looks good, another Ogre player here as well I see 😀

I need to take some pics of my stuff. I have around 2k points of Ogres painted and another 3k unpainted currently. Around 700 points of Space Marines out of 2k worth painted as well.

I just started Warmachine a few weeks ago and have only 3 things painted for my Khador currently out of a ton of models I've bought already.

I'll try and get some pics this week, my SM Terminator Chaplain won a few painting contests as well as my Ogre's Stonehorn and Thundertusk

Yup, mini's, miniature models that you put together and paint. They are used from a single one for like D&D up to hundreds of them for a Warhammer Fantasy army.

My friend was big into the heroclix. He has a cool collection and got himself into trouble buying to much off off ebay. I never played but it did look cool.

How is Dust Tactics by the way? Would you recommend it as a game?

DT is really good. It's simple rules and complex tactics make this game. You have lots of official scenarios/maps included with the core set (now the Revised Core set) and it's really easy to make your own maps after a few plays.

Setup time is under 10 minutes, teaching the rule 5 minutes, playtime around 1 hour. so in an evening you can easily do 2 or 3 games back to back.

It's really good and if you can grab an original core set (big "coffin" box from FFG) you'd have a lot more bang for your buck than in the Revised Core Set. But the Revised is still good. There's lots of expansions out there that add more Heroes, buildings, tiles, etc.

If you grad the Rivised set i'd also strongly recommend getting the Terrain Tile pack too so you don't play on a map poster and instead on thick cardboard tiles with which you can customize your own maps.
