Paintballing...

So I stopped by a new indoor paintball (Speedball) place tonight. I have a Tippman 98 Custom (Have had it for 4 years or so) with CO2 tanks.

Well, everyone there had Electric guns using compressed air (NO2 I think). I guess the sport has upgraded a bit since I played (last time 3 years ago).

Sooo... I guess I might wanna get a new gun 😀

Ohh yeah... lol Speedball is all I play and for that you need a new gun... If you play outdoors, and if most of the people in your area play with your type of gun. You don't need one.

In MD outdoor fields everyone has electronic or highspeed guns, in VA the people I play with.. play with Tipmans or Spyders

RUFIO- whats the point of airsoft, how would you prove someone was hit?

OIKOS- STFU

we have private games, so we invite people we know only.

during public games, there will of course be cheaters....just like in paintball.

but then u don't invite to your private games!

Never tried AS. Played a decent bit of PB on and off. I've not played since 2000, when I bought my Tippman98. That's a seriously freaking nice gun for the price. You can get quite a few rounds out per second and over 1000 rounds I shot that summer I had like one failed ball (surely the ball's fault). I always thought that close-quarters speedball was not fun looking, but I've never tried it. I always preferred the more stalking outdoor stuff.

Did you shoot 1000 rounds over the course of the whole summer? lol I shoot between 500-750 a game (some times more) I generally bring 2 cases of 2000 with me everytime I play

Not neccessarily a good thing either Eats a hole through the wallet but it's fun and I enjoy it
