Paintballers Told to Target Their Own Cars

Did a search for paintball, paint, paintballer and paintballers so if it's a repost, SUE ME 😀

PAINESVILLE, Ohio ? A judge ordered two paintball shooters to take aim at their own cars in order to stay out of jail.

Joshua Breeding, 20, and 19-year-old Christopher Lyons were found guilty on Thursday of splattering up another man's vehicle with paintballs in May. They each got a sentence of 60 days in jail.

Municipal Court Judge Michael Cicconetti gave them the option of shooting their own cars with paintballs and then cleaning up the mess. They also have to spend 40 hours painting at a Habitat for Humanity home.

The judge also ordered the pair to apologize to their victim and pay court costs.

**Edit** just watched the video. That was too easy of a sentence. It washed right off. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. They should have been strung up naked and fired upon.

HOW WEAK! He let them clean it off before it dried?

Should have let it bake in the sun for a while. That looked more like fun than a punishment. Clean it up? All he did was take a hose to it. Lame lame lame...

Should've put the paintballs in a freezer for a few hours before firing. That would've been justice.

and that POS is going straight to the junk yard anyway. should have ordered them to smash their own windows.

I don't see how you guys can say "The paintballs didn't even do any damage, how is that a punishment!?"

I mean, if paintballs don't actually damage cars, then what are they being punished ofr in the first place?

Winnar. This was an eye for an eye with the community service thrown in as future deterrent.

Have to agree on this one, water soluble paint, not enough mass/velocity to do any physical damage to a car, etc.

Appropriate punishment would have been a fine equal to the cost of a decent exterior car detailing.

'Cause the judge's a retard.

Doesn't matter that they didn't damage the guy's car, what they did was wrong if for no other reason than because the guy had to wash his car. A punishment equal to the crime is not sufficient - if the punishment for shoplifting was paying for what you stole, everyone would shoplift. Adding on the community service was what made this a real punishment, and I think it was appropriate.

Eye for an eye seems to be the backbone of what the dealth penalty is based on, and people think that is too harsh.
