while ago someone got shot on their bike and went into a coma from the impact on the concrete.. this should teach them a lesson not to go around shooting people with their paintball guns.

you don't see us airsoft guys doing stupid sh!t like that.

I believe I have said this before, but people are stupid.

First, why would people want to go around shooting a paintbull gun with all of the tense, wired people out there?

2nd, why do teanagers have guns out and about in their neighborhood?

3rd, I feel sorry for everyone involved, but people need to think about what they are doing.....

"while ago someone got shot on their bike and went into a coma from the impact on the concrete.. this should teach them a lesson not to go around shooting people with their paintball guns."

And yet you seem to miss the point that these 16yr old kids had a gun, and shot someone in the head, when they had a paintball shot at them.

The 15/16 year old kids shouldn't have had a gun, much less be firing it at people.

BUT the dumbass who got shot should know better than to drive around shooting people with paintballs. That's equally stupid IMO.

They could claim they shot back in self defense since they didn't know initially it was a paint gun. But 16 year olds with guns on the street, that's just not right...

i never said it's right for the kids to have a gun and be shooting it, however, this WILL teach wouldbe paintball pranksters a lesson.

i can honestly say i don't really feel sorry for the guy that got shot. (though in this case i don't feel sorry for the kids who had a gun when they shouldnt of either, had it been an adult i would of sided with them no problem).

I'm sure those 15-16 year old kids purchased their gun at a local gunshop after aquiring a permit, attending a firearm safety class as well as waiting 2 weeks for a background check to clear

All I can say is it is a good thing they didn't bring the kid to my hoiuse and try to get me to take him to the hospital. I would be way too busy laughing my ass off..

So you were shooting pedestrians with paintballs only someone shot back with a real gun...LMAO

I hope they give the 15-16 year old shooters citations for for tryingto rid the world of losers..

The guy that got shot was 21 years old and riding around shooting people with paintballs.. as if he would ever amount to anything

This is like the case of those guys who filmed themselves shooting paintball at people from their car and eventually got caught and convicted with their own video evidence...Don't people ever learn...

No matter how wrong it is for 16 year old to be carrying firearms on the street, I cannot, no matter how hard I try, feel sorry for this paintball idiot.

And if I remember correctly, most of those victims in that tape thought they were being shot by a real gun at the time.

if 16 year olds all ONLY shot people who went around shooting innocents with paintball guns, i don't see a problem with 16 year olds having guns.

the problem lies in what other things happen, not this incident.

Dammit that stupid idiot. I hate it when jerkoffs like that run around shooting people with a paintball gun. It's the main reason that paintball isn't completely widely accepted. The actions of a very few close the minds of many to the idea of paintball as recreation.

Sums up my feelings on it. I doubt they ever do any serious time for this - the "I thought it was a real gun" defense would seem pretty obvious.

True, but its illegal, except in wierdo states like Texas ;), to carry a concealed weapon of any kind, and its illegal for a minor to own or even possess a gun. While I agree he won't do serious time, I doubt there's a chance in hell he'll get off scott free.

I'm curious to see how this all works out.

I don't know what will happen to the 15/16 year old kids... The fact that they fled doesn't help them, but I think that they will have a decent case for self defence. I saw an interview on the news or something a while ago with a guy who had been shot by a real gun years back, and then had just recently been shot by a paintball gun in the neck and chest. He said that getting shot with the paintballs felt very similar to being shot with the real bullets, and thought he was going to die.

Actually, most states have legal concealed carry laws allowing licensed individuals to carry concealed weapons. And most of those are "on demand" meaning you only have to prove you're not a criminal, not have an "acceptable" reason to carry. One state, Vermont, allows all law abiding citizens the right to carry a conealed weapon without licensing or permit. Colorado does not have an "On Demand" law. They were poised to pass one the year the Columbine shootings happened and irrational knee-jerk reactionism killed that pretty quick.

Now, that said, all of these states require the person to be over 21.

what difference does it make if they were 16 or 36? They were getting shot at, and they shot back. If you're going to shoot at people with a gun that shoots a .68 caliber projectile at 150 miles an hour, expect them to defend themselves.

Guy was asking to get shot, IMO.
