I have a couple hundred scanned pictures I'm putting into a powerpoint presentation. I'm using PSP 7 to crop them down to the areas I want. Here's the problem. I have a black background in powerpoint. When I select an area in PSP and use copy and paste (paste as new image), it gets a tiny light border on the picture that really looks bad when on the dark background. It seems to be due to some antialiasing going on in PSP - if I make a new blank image all black and paste the cropped image into that, there's no ugly edge. I'm sure there's an easier way to fix this than making a new image and pasting into it every time.

What about doing a file - save as after doing the crop and renaming it? I'm wondering why you are pasting it as a new image?
