Pain in elbow area, any doctors around?

here is a picture of the problem area.

That area of my arm started hurting the other day while I was typing and just moving the mouse (not exactly back-breaking work). It doesn't hurt constantly, it's just in certain positions it can hurt. It hurts a lot worse at night.

Seems like a strain or something, any other possibilities?

Disclaimer: I am NOT a doctor.

Probably a tendon strain or inflammation.

As with any thread about medical advice - if in doubt, see a REAL doctor.

"It hurts when I do this..."
"Don't do that..."

It could be many things, hard to tell with the information provided. There are a few docs around the forum though, as I am only a medic. 😀

Not a doctor here either, but had a lot of experience with tennis elbow.

I'm guessing it's tendonitis.

Don't do that is one viable piece of advice.
Another is to get a ball that's just a little squishy (a tennis ball for instance) and while you're watching TV or at stoplights in the car you can squeeze it, it strengthens the muscles in the area.

Haha, you can also ice it after long periods of mouse use.

<< I was thinking that, but then I started leaning more towards fapyfapitis. >>

Wrong arm for that. 🙂
