Is Good Friday a paid Holiday for you?

It is for me. 🙂

But it might be the last year for it, as the company is looking for ways to cut costs.
 
Yup, paid day off for me as well. Gonna sit on my butt until the Sugarland concert tonight. lol.

My wife is making me go b/c I took her to Disturbed on Wed.
 
Good Friday is one of our 6 floating holidays. The other 5 are MLK Jr. Day, President's Day, Veteran's Day, day after Thanksgiving, Employee Birthday.
 
I had no idea people got Good Friday off. Although if I didn't read this post I wouldn't even have known it was good friday.
 
Markets are all closed so I cant do anything yet it isnt a holiday for us... never understood these days. Anyway Im working from home so it doesnt matter too much..
 
no, im off today but im a part timer everywhere. when we work holidays we get overtime rated pay. i seem to keep missing the holidays though :-/
 
Still have classes, still have to go into the lab to finish something started yesterday. My little brother in HS had yesterday off, and today through next Friday off.
 
I work in the stock business. We have every day off that the market is closed. Except today. Why? Don't have a fucking clue.
 
Our office elected today to be one of our floating holidays (other offices are still open) I wish they elected the day after easter instead though. Oh well, I'll take a free day off!
 
Yup, its a statutory holiday here in Ontario. That means if I work I get time and a half and if I don't work I get holiday pay.

Nope. Never had off from any job on Good Friday. Not like it matters since I don't even go to Church or observe Lent or anything, just saying.
 
I could have it off, but they give me an extra vacation day if I come in. I'm gonna go somewhere where you have to wear a speedo this summer, so I took the extra vacation day.
