It's been probably over 15 years since I last booked a flight so today was online looking at options for a flight from Portland,OR to Burbank,CA

I was just looking at those online sites like Travelocity / Priceline ... the Travelocity site had the flight I wanted for like $2 cheaper ( buying two tickets one way ) so I went with that. $183 a piece. Then just about a half hour ago I looked at the web site of the airline ( America West ) and checked out what they charged for the same flight. $30.00 cheaper for each ticket.

Damm, oh well ... :cookie: for me

I'm already 39 so dying young is just about over... I'm not stressing about it....just a learning lesson ... that's all.

Ccontact the site and ask them why they are charging you more than the airlines web site.

To make money?

If they are advertising that they provided lower fairs by using their service, then they should honor the claim.

They are lower, sometimes... If you're too lazy to do your homework and look around elsewhere, whether it be other travel sites or the airline's website itself, you deserve to pay more.

I've been working on my travel plans for the upcoming summer (Yes, I know, it's January, but I can't wait to get the fvck out of here and go somewhere warm)

The "cheaper" websites are great for finding out what airline has the best deals - but you should always check directly with the airline to see if they're cheaper.
