Hi All
Just got back from the BB in Lafayette, Louisiana. They had FIVE on the shelf with the "33" serial number on them - four after I left the store. Opened the box at home and indeed there is a fan on the GPU and teh label says 9800Pro 128mb. I won't install it right away - need to decide if I want to keep it vs staying with my Ti4200 vs waiting for the FX5700 to come down in price (BLACK FRIDAY IS LOOKING VERY TEMPTING IF SOMEONE HAS ONE ON SALE THAT DAY!).
I'm going back and troll all the sites with reviews of the 9600Pro & FX5700. I know the advantages of the Radeon series vs FX. My main concern is that I've read the Radeons have some issues in older games (and I have MANY of those that have run GREAT on all my Nvidia cards).
I was thinking of saving this 9600Pro until after Black Friday and see what develops!

...yup, thinking the same thing...will see If I can wait for 28 more days.was thinking of saving this 9600Pro until after Black Friday and see what develops!

So pardon the ATI newbie question (I have been an Nvidia fanatic till I got in on this deal), how do adjust the core and memory speed?
I know this is off topic, but inquiring minds want to know!
Thanks,
