pagefile ?

With 1Gb+ of ram would it be safe to disable pagefile for better performance in games ?

It can't hurt anything try it and see if you think it's better or not.

I dont have the ram yet,, But Im just asking because with 1gb ram I see no use for pagefile, when games get swapped (paged) to hd it makes them load slower.

no need to disable it. just tell it to clear every time you shut down your computer.

I doubt that you'd get a big boost on load times.

It won't make any difference being with that much ram you wouldn't be using the pagefile anyway. No need in even worrying about it. I would manually adjust the filesize though. Windows will try to make it 1.5GB's... just make it a few hunderd MB's so Windows will be happy and forget about it.
