Page Sharing

Hello, Can anyone simply explain or give some idea about Page Sharing? I was googling to find some introductory material for "Content based page sharing" for Virtual machines. I would be really helpful to get some help in this regard.

It's just what it says, memory pages shared between VMs based upon some criteria to reduce the memory load on the host.
