How come i have 100MB free of ram but windows still uses the page file? Is there a point where you have so much ram windows won't use the page file. My page file is 800MB! I have 256 DDR now and am going to upgrade to 512 soon.

Windows always uses pagefile. NT/XP is supposed to be much better at using memory. If you are using 9x there is an adjustment you should make to I believe to be sys.ini. It has been covered in the forums many times. It might even be in the anand FAQ's.

Depends on what you are doing. The default is 1.5x the amout of physical memory. With 768MB you can probably get away with a small 256 or 128MB page file.
