For some reason while playing BF2, I am getting MASSIVE HD activity....I'm guessing its the PF....what would happen if I disable it? I have 1 Gb of ram already.

Unless your actually using all the memory, its not likely to be the PF. Anything else running that might account for it?
 
I haven't played it, but it seems like many people recommend >1GB of RAM for BF2, at least in some cases.
Could simply be that you need more RAM.

Oh and leave the pagefile alone, messing with it is more likely to screw things up than fix them unless you know exactly what you're doing.
 
Buy more ram. BF2 is a known memory hog.

The pagefile is there to optimize the memory system and grows when it needs to. Disabling it is bad.
