Page break in excel difficulty

I'm working on a project where I need to insert a page break in between some data, however, I cannot do it. I open a new excel file enter some data and hte page break utility works fine, just not in the file I need it in. Any suggestions? Is there a possibility of that option being disabled in that file?
 
go to page setup....make sure all settings are on default, like the "fit to BLANK pages tall and BLANK pages wide"

you must have some setting in there that isn't letting you put a page break in

Yea, i tried that and I am trying to find the setting. Hopefully the person who created the file will reply to my email...
