so one event is not an examples of all religions that are not monotheiastic

This doesn't deny the existence of any other gods, just asserts that the "God" of the Old Testament is an egomaniac.
 
In modern paganism there is a holiday called Ostara (EDIT: I was wrong, it is actually Beltane) which celebrates fertility. The celebrations tend to resemble a even more hedonistic version Woodstock.
