What is the best way to ship a full sized atx motherboard when you have none of the original packing. I don't even have any antistatic bags. Also, if you are selling the cpu, is it better to leave it installed in the motherboard?

Help please :p

go to a nearby computer repair shop and get a mobo box, some antistatic bags, and a plastic cpu holder thing. under no circumstances ship w/o the antistatic bag. I don't think it would hurt to leave the cpu in though. clean off all the thermal goo of course.

you need to get an anti-static bag

i like to double box motherboards, anti-static, wrap with bubble wrap, inside inner box. inner box inside outer box surrounded by peanuts

I would suggest that you buy the bubble rap, remove the CPU and wrap the MB up several times and then tape the ends witht the shipping tape. Put it in a box with the pop corn, ensure that the pop corn are underneath the MB as well. As for the CUP, I would suggest useing a spounge and putting a peice top and bottom, use the bubble wrap and wrap it up, use the tape and then put i9t in the box. If you do not want to go through all of the trouble, leave the CPU on the MB.
Also the UPS or any UPS store will wrap items for you which would make them the responsible ones.....

Leave the cpu in the board. You must find an anti static bag, not worth shipping it without. Double box it somehow.
