Packets being dropped in Checkpt fw

Hi all,

I have a fw question.

Currently , my fw is opened for a ftp connection btw A (my internal) and B (ext internet party).

A=source B =dest.

From the fw log, i can see that the packets are being dropped. There is no rule stating the drop and no info given too.

Iam using checkpt 4.1 SP4.

What can possibly go wrong ?

4.1 is old, but I think they still mentioned the rule # that caused the drop in the log.

Yep they do.
Go to "View -> Hide / Unhide" and make sure the "Rule" field is checked.
