someone is sending fake packets to a server causing the data to get screwy...i know a sniffer and a proxy server can find this data packet and can be configured to block it...just wondering if it can be done without either one.
any commercial grade firewall software or firewall can do this for you.
A router should be able to as well.
But I'd be more concerned about why this is happening. A server's data should never be corrupted no matter what kind of data and packets are hitting it. You might want to make sure you have all the recent updates for the OS and software.
