Dang it! I really wanted the Pack to win. 🙁 : ) Amanda

why? it's not like they're aren't already in the playoffs. 😉
Because they would have gotten home field advantage! We all know how well Favre does in Lambeau! 😀

Doesn't matter though!! They stunk up the field today! Good game for the Jets though.

Jets win the AFC East title, sorry Amanda 😉 😀
Well, the Packers are still in the play-offs! That's all that matters to me! 😛

Brett who? Lil' Chad Pennington shows Favre how to get it done. Oh, and he spells his name wrong. Anyone up for a NY-NY Superbowl?! That would be unreal!

<-- Giant fan

A NY-NY superbowl would be nice, but that might prolong Fassels time in NY. I don't care if he wins the superbowl, there is simply something about him that makes me hate him. Really, right now everyone thinks he's a genius, but if Akers hadn't missed that chip shot and NO hadn't blown it against the Bungles, they'd just be another talented team that failed to make the playoffs.

And if New England hadn't pulled off a miracle OT victory then the Jets would be out. And if Jeter wouldn't have been on the first baseline......and if........and if.....
WELCOME TO NY SPORTS. WE MAKE MIRACLES HAPPEN.

🙂

EDIT: I like Fassel.

They're just freaken scary to NFC teams; we'll see if they can get past the Colts to play real AFC team. 😉

Are you ok?! That ball was soooooo offline, there wasn't a chance in hell of catching Giambi, especially if he would've slid.

hmmm... there was another play in the arizona series where he made "a great play" of standing on the line and intercepting an on-target throw... i think it was game 3.

Someone explain something to me....The Dolphins, Patriots, and Jets all finished 9-7, yet the Jets clinch a playoff spot?

1st tiebreaker: head-to-head
Jets-Pats split their series, Jets-Dolphins split, Pats-Dolphins split

All teams still alive

2nd tiebreaker: division record
Jets 4-2, Pats 4-2, Dolphins 2-4

Dolphins eliminated

3rd tiebreaker: best record in common games

Jets had a better record against teams that both they and the Patriots played.

JETS WIN DIVISION!!

If the Pats lost, Jets would be out (I think).

no way! not with that offense! the Bucs may score 10 points! geez, who could beat them. they never fold in the playoffs. ever. Miami=Tampa Bay. defense too light, offense too sh!tty, short playoff season.

If that happened, then Miami would have finished 10-6, the Jets 9-7, Pats 8-8; hence no tiebreakers necessary, Dolphins win division based on overall record.
