Roads around here are a complete mess. Monday morning commute + icy roads + a bit of snow = cars in the ditch or flipped over in the road. Nobody around here can drive. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

I think i'm going to stay home today. Pretty much everything is closed but it seems it would take for my companys' building to burn down before they tell people to stay home. You shouldn't risk your employees being hurt due to conditions like this just to make you company more money. Sorry, my little rant for the day.

It's the morning now... Lots of snow and more falling now, with more on the way :)

University is closed :)

It's snowing like crazy right now. We've probably doubled the snow on the ground in the last 45 minutes (had a bit less than 2 inches when I got up this morning.)

My relatives in Juneau said that they have 4' of snow on the ground (hasn't snowed in a week) and it's 10-20 below zero F. Good god.

Just a light dusting in Puyallup (valley, not South Hill). Heard it was pretty bad up on the hill. The parking lot for the Sounder station was like an ice rink this morning, though. Glad I just got new tires 2 weeks ago.

We just had a small downpour of snow here in Vancouver, WA. Got all sunny out though, so it all melted. :(

512 was a crawl both ways this morning. I did not drive it, but viewed it from a safe distance:)

Seems like the weather in the 'States has been a little off its rocker lately.

Some friends in Florida told me they had snowflakes in Orlando and it was so cold the bees were wearing yellow jackets!

We just had some "snow showers".

It's laid a nice foundation for the snow to stick if it snows again tonight.

Ya, if I wanted that I'd move to Edmonton or Winnepeg!

Weather went in the crapper in the south sound area last night. cars are abandoned all over. It took some folks 6 hours to get home from the seahawks game, normally a 1 hour drive.

Just got the pics uploaded this morning, it's been in the low 20s all day so pretty cold and the snow ain't going away. They're saying now that Thursday is going to bring another snowstorm, and locals are telling me that every 10 years Victoria gets hammered by a monster snowfall, and this just happens to be 10 years since the last one. Figures I'd move here just in time to enjoy it :(

I love how when it snows the local stations compete to see who can provide the best snow coverage. They all have their own names for the weather, like "Storm Watch 2006," or "Snowday 2006" or something stupid like that. Then they send all the reporters out on random city streets to pickup a handful of snow and talk about how it is laying all over the place and kids are sledding and cars are crashing and schools are closed.
