Pacific Fighters vs Combat Flight Simulator 2

Aside from graphical quality, what are the main differences between these 2 simulators ?

Is one more fun than the other ? Is one easier to fly and learn ? Enjoyable gameplay is what I am after.

Opinions appreciated.

Yea I dunno. I played CFS2 and I absolutely loved it. Even more so than CFS3.

I thought CFS2 was a much better game than Pacific Fighters.

Never played CFS2, but I've played Pacific Fighters.

I found Pacific Fighters to be quite bland IMHO. Flying over water and trying to land on a carrier is not really fun to me. The campaign is not dynamic or interesting enough. However, most of the IL-2 games (which Pacific Fighers is) the online play is where the fun begins. Not sure if many play online anymore tho.

The IL-2 series is generally much better than the CFS series, but Pacific fighters does get a little boring always being over water.

Just get IL-2 1946 and away you go. PF is included

Does anyone know if the game runs on vista 64? I was looking into picking up a good flight sim, and thought this looked good. Checked the webpage and it says XP/2000 only.

IL-1946 runs fine in Vista x64. No experience with CFS.
