I don't see what the big problem is? I've done some tests with my BTC burner and here's the results I've been getting...

Using Nero CDspeed

--Average read 31.53x
--Average seek 102ms

From my burn tests, I've done two audio CDs so far

--79mins, and burned at 20x in 4:30
--71mins, and burned at 20x in 4:15

*cpu usage is 8-9% for the first minute or so, then drops to 0-3% for the rest of the burntime

It's also a lot quieter than my pioneer 16/40x DVD.
