My fiance loves ms. pac-man and lately we have been firing up the old playstation and I have given in and started playing...

I found out real quick I suck at pac-man type games.... I've only made it to level 6 twice on the "classic" ms. pac-man game that my fiance owns for Playstation.

My fiance is the self-proclaimed queen of this game so I have a challenge ahead of me to get better. Darn game is addicting! Although the game does leave me with some questions...

Does your player get a 1up after every 10,000 points or just the first 10k?
What are some of the ghost patterns? Tricks, tips or hints to getting past the mazes.

I have this pac-man world 2 game for game cube.... My fiance got me a game cibe for my birthday last year, came with 4 wireless controllers and a bunch of games... That just happened to be one of them.... I played through it a bit and was surprised taht it is kind of fun. Still, I need to get better at the classic pac-man games.

IIRC, there's guides floating around that tell you exactly what pattern to take to get through every level. The ghosts all have specific AI, if Pac-man is below a certain ghost, that ghost will go down and left towards Pac-man, stuff like that. But then you'd have to memorize the patterns.

I think that there is this tool that has a whole bunch of networked computers taht might have some information about pacman. I think that it is called the interweb.

Already been pwned by the fiance, time for payback.
I have already read up on some FAQs out there on teh game, just looking for input from ATOT about their experiences with these games.
I'm still wondering about if you get a 1up every 10,000 points... Because I don't recall getting an extra life the only time I got past 20K points. Yes I suck at the game.
