We had 5 ranked schools in the polls, and you guys are just whining.
There's a reason USC demolished OU last year and if Pac-10 really sucks that bad, how come it's the Pac-10 schools that give USC trouble? Oh and how come Cal was the only school who beat USC in the last 27 games?

And it's way too soon to try and determine which conference is the best this year. Wait and see after the bowls.
Okay, check back after the bowls this year. And I say put USC in the ACC or SEC and they take 1-2 lossed every year, no matter how good they are. They would be tested nearly every single week.

PSA, you could get away with 100+ penalty yards at FSU because you had a QB and a defense. Rivers isn't here anymore. I've got 2 words for you...Discipline and Discipline and for gods sake run the ball 95% of the time....
The Pac 10, if I'm counting right, only had 4 bowl teams last year and they went 2-2.
The SEC had 6 bowl teams, and went 3-3.
The ACC also had 6 bowl teams and went 3-3.
ACC was 1-1 vs. the SEC in bowls.
ACC was 2-1 vs. the Big East in bowls.
Neither the ACC nor SEC played any Pac 10 teams in bowls.
Bottom line, both the ACC and SEC sent more teams to bowls than the Pac 10 and likely will this year, too...therefore, both conferences are stronger, top to bottom.

Agreed, but we just played bad vs. UNC. We'll see what happens Thursday vs. GT. If we beat them, I'll be impressed, because they have had our number for years.
At least we have 2 consecutive Thursday night ESPN games...next week is Clemson, and that's fortunate since it's a home game and the State Fair starts the next day. A game at Carter-Finley with the Fair in town is pure hell.
BTW, I would like to ask Chuck just how many penalties one offensive lineman needs to get before he gets benched. Morris accounted for about 1/2 our penalty yardage vs. UNC and still played.
I was at the UNC game and wow, I had never been so disappointed. Their response vs GT will be huge. People are already calling for Chucks head here around campus. Somone even had an article in the student newspaper calling him a magician.....all show and no substance.
