Is the board Rev. 1.x, 2.0, or 3.3? Check the CPU support list for each Rev. on Gigabyte's website:

GA-965P-DS3

If the board Rev. supports the processors you have in mind, and the board isn't flakey, $10 is a great deal. Be warned, though, that support for 45nm on Rev. 2.0 is not only very limited but can be somewhat glitchy, depending on the CPU. If you intend to run higher-end 45nm models, particularly quad core, then you want Rev. 3.3. Rev. 1.x doesn't support 45nm models.

keeping what TCS said in mind, it's a great deal regardless. Just be sure if you have a processor you're already planning on using that it's compatible.

That's a quality board. And for $10... seems like a no brainer to me. I'd go for it. Just realize that the max supported FSB is 1066 MHz, though you probably can push it higher.
