Just got a new 2160 to go with my RMA'd DS3. Board runs fine at stock speeds, no issues. But when I start to OC the problems begin. I have managed to be in windows at 3.2 with 1.4 vcore and run orthos for over and hour. But now each time I reboot or windows needs to restart it just keeps restarting till I either have to reset cmos or it defaults to stock clocks. I have tried bios versions F10, F12, and F13o. I just cant get an overclock to stick eventhough the chip can handle it.
I have read stuff about cold boots and I never had this issue before I had the board repaired. Do yall think I have a setting wrong, the board is bad, or the chip is bad? Not new to OCing and CIE and EIST are disabled in bios.
