p90x routines?

can someone tell me the routines used?

i'm confused. all i have is the workout calender. unfortunately, it leaves questions unanswered.

please help me understand what i need to do.

the workout calender mentions certain DVDs. weeks 1-3 have 7 routines. please don't laugh. i know nothing about working out, and even less about these routines, but am i to do all seven of these routines everyday? this doesn't seem very plausible for me. on the other hand, do i do one different routine in sequence on every day of the week? even then, i don't know if it's enough. do i do the routines in sequence, can i break sequence? am i supposed to do the a single routine multiple times in a day or multiple routines once per day?

i appreciate any and all help.

btw, please keep to answering these questions, and not sharing your negative opinions of P90x.

It's made for people who all already in pretty good shape (e.g. they have a checklist of exercises you need to be able to do, such as 3 pullups, etc. before you should start the program). The workouts are pretty much just complexes, and it does work if you do the program and eat very well. I don't know how exactly it's laid out, though.

no kidding about the people who're in good shape. i started with the abdominal thing and it made me realize just how not in shape i am. i ran through 3/4 of it and of that i managed to do half the reps. i was completely floored.
