i have the mentioned motherboard and a I7 2700K , 16GB of corsair memory.

i also have 2 x samsung 830 128GB that i would very much like to run in Raid0.

i have changed setting in bios from AHCI to RAID under SATA options.
rom is force bios.

i have CTRL-I and created Raid array and when i go to install i get and error.

windows can not be installed to this drive. this computers hardware does not support start to disk , check the disks controller is enabled in the computer bios menu.

i have also tryed with drivers from the MB CD with out any luck.

can anyone help me.. dont know whats wrong.

-Make sure the motherboard has the latest BIOS
-Make sure the hard drives are running the latest BIOS
-Download the latest Windows RAID drivers foor the motherboard from www.asus.com

-Once those are flashed to the latest version, try recreating the array by booting and pressing Ctrl+I. then try booting to your Windows disk.

What version of Windows are you installing? Windows 7?

motherboard bios - latest non beta version.
Sdd drives - latest non beta version.
7 or 8 diffrent versions of raid drivers testet no joy.

its windows 7 Home premium 64Bit.

and array has been recreated about 20 times.

motherboard has also been exchanged to see if that was the problem..
