W7 Enterprise 64bit
P8P67 Pro with 1204 BIOS
1 dvd drive
3 internal hdds
1 external hdd always plugged in
2500k
2x GTX460
I had some automatic restarting issues with my P8P67 Pro during POST, so i updated the BIOS to 1204, which solved my POST restarting problem but now my boot order/list is borked.
The only thing that shows up on the 'EZ mode' boot *order* list is 1 of my hard drives which is just storage and the dvd drive. The manual "Pick a device to boot from that just this once" shoes all devices.
The advanced boot section effectively is the same. The boot overide section shows all my devices but is the override list is just another "Pick a device to boot from that just this once" type of thingy. The boot order drop down lists still only show my storage drive and dvd drive.
I am not sure if this missing drive thing was an issue before the BIOS update (From whatever the default is. 804 i think?) because it would boot from my OS drive anyway.
The cables pre and post BIO update are in the exact same places, and once in windows everything works fine. Nothing changes when i disconnect the external hdd. If a USB flash drive is plugged in it shows up on the boot order lists fine.
What do i need to do to get my other drives to show up? At the moment i have to manually go into the BIOS to tell it which drive to boot from EVERY time i start up which is inconvenient and annoying. I have a suspicion i could just switch up the SATA cables and it might sort itself out but I still should be able to select other drives in my boot order list.
Help?
Cheers.
