P6T Deluxe V2 (NO BOOT)

- i7 2.66ghz (w/ coolermaster v8)
- P6T Deluxe V2
- 6 gigs of Corsair RAM
- Corsair 750W PSU

The build went fine. My only issue was the tight clamp on the CPU, but it locked. Other than that no problems.

Here is what I tried
-----------------------
- unplugged all fans (except cpu)
- unplugged cd/harddrive
- checked all connections
- removed all RAM except 1 DIMM
- reset CMOS

Oddities
----------
- On boot (w/ fans all plugged). The fans went on very strong, then died down to a dull spin after 5 seconds.

- When I removed the graphic card power, the fans all turned on and were strong and stayed strong.

- NO BEEPS! The motherboard didn't come with an on-board speaker and my case doesn't have one either!!

Did you install your RAM exactly according to the guide in the manual?

It's picky about what slots are occupied first for different configurations -- if you don't follow the manual, the board will boot, run the fans, but fail to post just as you described.

The ram needs to be in the orange slots...
