P67 stable?

So I've been looking to get an SB system cobbled together and I'm noticing quite a few "issues" with the P67 boards in the forums. Is this more or less due to people and their OC's? I've seen, firmware issues, Windows issues, ram issues (including clearance) etc etc. Even though no one is really complaining about it, it does seem abnormally high.

Is the platform more or less stable..or is it still a work in progress?
 
It's as good as it gets..
Forums are always going to highlight the problems; you won't see posts from the thousands of successful builds ..
 
I havn't had any problems with mine, but as mentioned above most people who have working systems don't bother to post about a build that went super smooth.

Forums are either about bragging or about asking for help. People don't post

Yea, I understand that's how it normally works...but I like to think "many" of the people here are somewhat technically inclined 🙂
 
I've had two issues with my build so far:

-- USB NIC wouldn't save WPA2 password; I'd have to find my router and log into it every time I booted up. Solution was to install the NIC and its drivers in the correct order. Works perfectly now.

-- Flickering color when GPUs were in SLI. Struggled with it for a few days until I found out that 50% digital vibrance was too much for both the new IPS panel and the old TN one; adjusted it back to 40%. Works perfectly now.

I'm still running the 2500K at default clock/voltage; my temps are a little higher than I'd like them to be... going to remount the cooler and get them down some before I start messing with overclocking.

A lot of what you are seeing online might mostly be earlier adopters who were right out of the gate at launch and were helping motherboard companies workout bugs in earlier BIOS revisions.
 
I've had my system for almost three months now, never had a single problem with it (both the B2 and B3).
 
With MOBO companies transitioning to UEFI there are probably going to be some hiccups. The other thing is that because these boards are new, they warrant new threads. I could go buy a new P45 board and have issues, I am more likely to find the information while searching the internet, not requiring a new thread.

I'd currently not have any reservations about a build if I wasn't financially required to delay a few months.
 
Been running since early February. Actually had a few freezes but not sure why. Hasn't happened for a while.
