Motherboard -Asus PQ5-Pro bios version 2002
VGA - ASUS EAH4870 DK
E8500
8 gb OCZ Reaper HPC 1066 Mhz
Velociraptor WD 300GB
Two WD3200AAJS in raid0
Asus DRW-20B1LT
64 ultimate

First thing you should do is this.

1. Save your current BIOS setting so that you can restore it later.
2. Set your BIOS to "Optimized default".
3. Reboot, and configure the BIOS with bare minimum. I.E. if you have RAID or such, you will need to have it enabled so you can boot into the OS. Leave everything else at its default. (NO OVERCLOCKING)
4. Disconnect as many external devices as possible. Printers, network cables, card readers, etc.
5. Reboot and see if S3 works.

The obvious goal here is to see if your board is capable of S3.
