P5B-E vs. P5N-E SLI

Those two motherboards overclock similarly, but the P5N-E SLI has SLI support and is cheaper, what's the catch?

I went with the P5N-E SLI and was torn between these two exact boards. I actually have no use for the SLI but I chose that board because it had the 2 IDE Connections compared to 1 on all of the intel based boards. Also the price is a bit better so that sealed the deal for me.

I had the same dilemma, which of the two to get. I decided because of price and if I ever decided to go back to Sli it was available. I wish the board had another on-board USB and better cooling for the NB and SB. I am currently testing at 3GHz (9x333.5) and everything is running stable.

Here's what I think I'll do. I'll get the SLI board with my 1 8800GTS for now and get a large power supply if I ever get another video card. If I had an SLI board I would probobly have dual 7800GTs right now because a friend of mine offered me 7800GTs for $100 a piece which is a killer deal imo isn't it?

Yes, that's a good deal on the 7800GTs but you have a 8800GTS and that is a better deal.

Yeah, I used to have 1 7800GT and he offered me a second one for $100, but I declined then sold the old card and bought an 8800GTS. I think one 8800GTS is faster than two 7800GTs, but does cost more.
