IIRC, there's a new revision of this motherboard coming out eventually that has higher vdimm options.

I highly doubt a bios update will change it on yours though.

n7 is correct. Rev 1.02G will allow for higher vdimm. A bios update will not allow for higher vdimm on your current version of the mobo.
